Our History
Fay Hill, Owner of Construction & Development Solutions, Inc., grew up in Lititz, PA, with a father who was unsure of what to do with a daughter. He taught her everything about houses, from electrical work to remodeling. So, when life threw her a curveball 20 years ago, she found herself working as the Controller of a small Construction Company and thanking her father for his wisdom.
Nine years and hundreds of projects later, Fay worked her way up to General Manager. As GM, she worked on the building project from the beginning to the end, hired subcontractors, completed job estimates and project costing.
In 1998, Fay found a lot, built a spec home, and started Construction & Development Solutions, Inc.. Since the beginning Fay has insisted on building a quality, custom home. From the planning stages to the finished product, Fay will meet with the customer as many times as it takes until they are completly satisfied with every detail of their home. From concept to completion, our attention to detail makes the difference!
Fay's credentials also include building and developing a 29-lot subdivision called Commodore's Landing in Conoy Township. And working with investors to develop several other sites in both York and Lancaster Counties. Catherine Hill was hired in 2005 to start The Renovation Division of Construction & Development Solutions, Inc.. Before joining the company, Katie graduated from Rutgers University and worked as a Social Worker for several years. However, with a mother in the Construction industry, Katie always felt at home on the job sites, so it was a natural fit. Renovation and Remodeling have always been Katie's passion, and it shows in the details of her work. Katie believes listening to the customers is the key to a successful renovation!
